CLIENT / MARKETING SERVICES

Donnie Bridges, Business Development Executive: services the South Florida area promoting precast/prestressed materials for your projects with an emphasis on hollow-core. His in-depth knowledge of the concrete and prestressed industries, combined with his extensive background in estimating, accounting and sales make him an ideal contact for a “drawing board” project. Donnie can offer a cost-savings and time-efficient conversion from other construction methods and is also available for lunchbox presentations to architectural, engineering and contracting firms.

Jeff Brim, District Sales Manager: represents our Major Projects Division. Recent projects include the Ryder Center at the University of Miami, Collier County Development Services Garage and the Seminole Paradise Arena. Jeff’s longtime experience with virtually all precast/prestressed products make him a valuable source of information and services to our clients in the South Florida area.

Pat Scruggs, Projects Estimator: works closely with the Cement Industries Sales Managers to give our clients prices for materials, shipping and installation that meets their budget. Client Estimators and Project Managers often confer directly with Pat to answer any questions about the scope of their project at bid time and her 20+ years in the industry are invaluable in assuring fair and accurate pricing in all quotes.

April Iacofano, Contracts Administrator: prepares all Cement Industries Proposals and Contracts and reviews all outside Contracts. Her length of service in diverse positions and comprehensive understanding of our production systems makes her the ideal facilitator between Sales and Operations. She is instrumental in servicing our clients in the early stages of their projects.

OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT

Dave Gorrell, VP - Administration/Engineering: oversees the Prestress Department which includes drafting, engineering, delivery scheduling and installation. Dave and his staff are skilled at serving our clients and their design professionals. He and his team work closely with Sales to answer any questions our clients may have before, during and after the construction phase. Dave also develops marketing materials and product/services catalogs for distribution to existing and future customers and design professionals.

Rich Hall, Quality Assurance Manager: has 30 years experience in the precast/prestressed concrete industry, holding virtually every position in the manufacturing sector including Project Manager, Production Scheduler and Plant Manager. Although he joined Cement Industries as an Installation Scheduler, Rich's extensive background with such complex projects as parking garages and high-rise office buildings made him invaluable as he assumed the dual responsibilities of Quality Assurance Manager and FDOT Quality Control Manager. Rich has earned several difficult certifications since joining CI, including the prestigious PCI Level III certification.

Mike Mikkelsson, Production Scheduler/Installation Manager: ensures our clients' production needs are met by working closely with our Sales and Project Managers and through timely communication with our customers. As Installation Manager he works directly with our customers to establish an installation schedule that best suits their needs. He schedules all shipping and installation and follows up with quality service calls after the job is complete. In addition, he oversees our inventory and production levels, maintains our website and assists the CADD department.

Peter Sabbow, Director of Safety, Human Resources and Compliance: handles multiple responsibilities inherent in maintaining a safe, professional and regulatory-compliant manufacturing facility. With more than 15 years experience in various capacities in the precast/prestressed industry, he has quickly assimilated the unique demands of CI's operations. While in the midst of a complete updating of Safety and Personnel manuals, Peter has also used his hands-on approach in the manufacturing facility itself, sharing his in-depth knowledge of production and scheduling with other personnel. In addition to our Project Manager, Peter serves as a second liaison with jobsite operations, insuring a safe and regulation-compliant job.
